Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 14, 2026
At DubLab ("we," "our," or "us"), we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the DubLab platform and services (collectively, the "Service"). By using our Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
Personal Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials. If you sign up via a third-party provider (Google, GitHub, or Discord), we receive your name and email from that provider.
Payment Information
Payment details (credit card numbers, billing address) are processed directly by Stripe and are never stored on our servers. We retain only a Stripe customer ID and subscription status.
Content Data
When you use our dubbing service, we process the video and audio files you upload. This includes temporary storage of extracted audio, transcriptions, translations, and synthesized voice data needed to produce your dubbed content.
Usage Data
We automatically collect usage information such as pages visited, features used, processing history, IP address, browser type, device information, and referring URLs. This data helps us improve the Service.
Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember preferences, and analyze usage patterns. See Section 7 for our full Cookie Policy.

3. Data Storage & Security
Your uploaded files and processed content are stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3 with server-side encryption (AES-256). All data in transit is protected by TLS 1.2 or higher.
We implement industry-standard security measures including access controls, audit logging, and regular security reviews. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Database records are stored in PostgreSQL with encrypted connections and role-based access controls.

Uploaded content is retained based on your plan. Processing intermediaries (temporary audio extractions, transcripts) are automatically deleted after processing is complete.
Usage logs are retained for up to 12 months for analytics and security purposes, then anonymized or deleted.
