Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the DubLab platform and services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and DubLab ("we," "our," or "us"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Account Registration
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You may register using your email address or through a supported third-party provider (Google, GitHub, or Discord).
You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.
3. Service Description
DubLab provides an AI-powered video dubbing platform that enables you to translate and dub video content into multiple languages. The Service includes:
- Video upload and processing
- AI-powered speech recognition and transcription
- Neural machine translation
- Voice cloning and speech synthesis
- Audio mixing and video rendering
- API access (on eligible plans)
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
4. Content Ownership & Licensing
Your Content.You retain all ownership rights to the content you upload to DubLab ("Your Content"). By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and transmit Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
Dubbed Output. You own the dubbed versions of your content produced by the Service. You are free to use, distribute, and monetize the dubbed output without restriction, subject to the rights of any third parties in the original content.
Our Content. The DubLab platform, including its design, code, AI models, and documentation, is owned by DubLab and protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you rights to our trademarks, logos, or proprietary technology.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Upload content you do not have the right to dub or distribute
- Create deepfake content, impersonation, or deceptive media
- Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract our AI models
- Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or access controls
- Use automated systems to scrape or overload the Service
- Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.
6. Payment Terms & Refund Policy
Subscriptions. Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) through Stripe. Your subscription automatically renews unless you cancel before the renewal date.
Credits. Each plan includes a set number of processing seconds per billing period. Unused credits do not roll over to the next period. Credit consumption varies by quality level (Standard vs. Studio).
Price Changes. We may change pricing with at least 30 days notice. Price changes take effect at your next billing cycle.
Refunds. Due to the computational nature of our service, processed credits are non-refundable. If you experience a technical issue that results in a failed or unusable output, contact us within 7 days for a credit restoration or refund evaluation on a case-by-case basis.
Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time.
7. Intellectual Property
The DubLab name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of DubLab. The Service, including all software, AI models, algorithms, interfaces, and documentation, is protected by copyright, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service or its underlying technology. You may not use our trademarks without prior written consent.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DUBLAB AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO DUBLAB IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee the accuracy of translations or the quality of voice synthesis.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DubLab and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights; or (d) the content you upload to the Service.
10. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through your account settings or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your account data within 30 days of termination, except where retention is required by law. Sections relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law survive termination.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we will provide at least 30 days notice via email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and delete your account.
12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Istanbul, Turkey.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
